I did it! I just noticed that I have sold 631 items getting me to the 8% Level at Amazon! This is a huge accomplishment. I can hardly believe it. I have been writing Hubs and Squidoo Lenses daily for the last 6 months religiously and it is paying off.

If you are a discouraged Amazon Affiliate, don't give up. Just keep writing good quality articles and post them on Squidoo and Hubpages. Be consistent.

In August of 2010 I became a statistic and became unemployed. My company closed down and the entire staff got layed off. So after reality sunk in, I decided that while I'm looking for a job, I would take a hard look at Hubpages and the income potential that it had.

I knew that Hubpages wouldn't make me rich. And I knew that I would probably only bring in a few bucks a month, but my thinking was that any extra income from home would really help. I also knew that If I worked harder and buckled down I could get better results with my articles.

I just checked my stats and yesterday was the best day Ever with Hubpages!

My Google Adsense was over $10 and My earnings with Amazon was over 29.00 = 40.00+!

Plus I sold a total of 36 (through my Hubpages, Squidoo and Blogs) items giving me a total of 191 so far month to date.

Some of you may know that I have been unemployed since July and it has been pretty hard financially. And in between looking for full time employment, I've been doing what I love.....writing. And it looks like my writing has finally paid off.

This is just what I needed today!

I am so totally stoked! I just looked at my totals for last month and it looks like I ended up earning over $400 in October. My goal for November is $600 and December $700. They should both be pretty good months since it is the Holiday Season.

What are the important things?

Since writing on HubPages, I have found two things to be undeniably true; if I write with passion, an article does far better statistically, and if I am writing because I just want to get an article out, I know it won't do as well.

WRITING WITH PASSION

I go head-over-heals when it comes to big dumb dogs, or any dog for that matter. I could spend my days happily hanging around, playing and snuggling with these wolf like beasts. So when I put pen to pad on a dog related article, I find my brain and hands to become very in-tune with each other. The ease with which the words and information rush to the forefront of my mind is amazing, information begins lining up waiting its turn to run down my arm and activate the tactile motions of my hands making dog related words appear on my computer screen, and it feels good, it feels smooth and it feels right.

My 50Th Hub is My First 60dc2 Hub!

So, I see this 60 day hub challenge and read that this is the second go-round of the event. Making my 50Th hub my first 60 day challenge hub seems only appropriate! I've only been writing on hub pages for 3 months and have loads to learn. I came to HP to 'spill write' primarily. I had lost my spouse to cancer and couldn't find the passion to return to my previously (and quite successful) business career. I ran across HubPages.com as I was looking for something to do with and inspire my life; and possibly give birth to a new passion. So, it was the pen (or tapping keys rather) that drew me to this wonderful place. At first a respite, that has now grown into a desire and a feeling that I may be okay here if I can generate a few more shekels and drive traffic to where I share. Thus providing a place to feed my passion and fill my pockets.

First of all I want you to know that I love both Hubpages and Squidoo. It's like being a Mom of two children. They are both very different and unique but you love them both with all your heart. That's how I am with my two favorite places to publish my work.

Squidoo and Hubpages have a lot in common. Both Hubpages and Squidoo will publish your work for free. It's really cool getting paid to write and both sites are loved by google! So your article can get indexed pretty quickly.

Best Earnings Ever at Hubpages!

After Looking at Septembers stats, it looks like all of the hard work from the 60 Day Hubpages Challenge is paying off.

In September I sold 218 Amazon items which is a record for me!!!

But I am most excited that things are starting to click with Google Adsense. For months I have struggled and this month I earned an average of $2 a day. Which may not seem like much to you, but for me this is huge. And it is only going to go up from here.

My 60 Day Challenge Hub Summary List

I finally completed by 30 hubs and wanted to post a link to My 60 Day Challenge Hub Summary List.

55% increase in Amazon Sales!

I am really getting great results so far with Amazon's Affiliate Program and the 60 day challenge I'm doing with Hubpages. I made a sale 27 out of 31 days which is AWESOME! With 151 total sales. This is incredible to me. I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing and hopefully things will begin to duplicate. I'm excited.  My sales increased by 55% between July and August. My 60 Day Challenge - Getting More Traffic - Earning Hubpages Money

I decided to sign up for the latest 60 Day Challenge over at Hubpages. I'm excited to learn how to get better traffic and of course make more money. My biggest obstacle is Google Adsense. So I hope to learn a lot. And since I am pretty successful promoting Amazon, I hope to help others in that area.

Hubpages and Amazon....

I'm really excited because I am having the best month ever with Amazon. But mainly with Hubpages. I actually had 14 sales yesterday. The products were ordered through one of my Hubpages. This is showing me that what I'm doing is working.

The most important thing that I've notice though is that my conversion is higher than ever. My conversion is 11%. this means my writing very targeted Hubs with very targeted keywords is paying off. It seems like every day I earn just a little bit more.

(Half of these sales are through my Squidoo lenses as well, but my sales yesterday was all Hubpages)

I'm trying to keep motivated in writing hubs. My goal is to write at least 5 hubs a week (20 a month). And it is easier to be motivated if you have support so I joined the HubMob over at Hubpages. This week the HubMob is creating hubs for back to school. Which is right up my alley. And there are lots of wonderful Amazon products to promote. So far this week I have created 3 hubs.

Earning Money As An Amazon Affiliate Is Easy With Hubpages

I joined Hubpages two years ago. I was already doing pretty well at earning money over at Squidoo and I was looking for another site to check out.

3 months ago I really noticed an increase in my Amazon earnings and my adsense earnings....must especially my Amazon. So I made a decision to get up to 300 quality hubs by January 1st 2011. At the time I had 78 hubs. Now I have 104.

But here is what is important. I finished up July with earning 67.04. Okay, I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but it is more than I made all year long. So this shows me that things are starting to click into place.

For August so far I have already 78.00 and it is only the 12th of the month.

So needless to say I am syked.

So I created this blog as a place for me to track my stats as well as share some of the best articles from some of the best hubbers. I learned from reading what was working for others. And now I just want to pay it forward.
